The mature garden had grown out of control with large shrubs fighting for space leaving no room for any interesting perennials and making hard work for the client to keep it all under control. The existing patio was too small and in poor condition with much of the change in soil levels retained with concrete rubble. The small pond was overgrown and barely visible from the back of the house. A new driveway was also required.
The front garden was revamped giving the lawn a neat edge and the planting overhauled to leave key shrubs but increase the perennials for interest.
