This family wanted a contemporary but family friendly and welcoming garden.
Planting was used to disguise the boundaries while a contemporary patio and pergola were created. Wisteria and other climbers clothe the pergola to give a feeling of sanctuary. A winding 'stream' of slate chips leads to a water feature and a tree house for the children is tucked in the corner. Storage was added through a custom made shed to fit in the awkward space to the side of the house. Click through the photos to see more features.
Large planters with black bamboo and an Olive tree complement the contemporary look.
My garden was looking a bit bare and lifeless with just a few mature shrubs in. Anthea listened carefully and got to know what I liked. She has now created a stylish garden where the children can still enjoy themselves. The garden looks fantastic and we all get an awful lot of pleasure from it.
I would like to thank Anthea for transforming my garden and recommend her very highly.
