A planting plan was needed to create more interest in a garden that had a few large shrubs in and little else.
After a consultation to discover the client's preferences, a plan was created using a combination of colours and textures to give interest throughout the year.
Sedum ‘Purple Emporor’ combines with fresh lime green of Philadelphus coronarius ‘Aureus’ while Achillea ‘Terracotta’ contrasts wonderfully with the feather like grass Stipa tenuissima.
My garden was looking a bit bare and lifeless with just a few mature shrubs in. Anthea listened carefully and got to know what I liked. She has now created a garden full of wonderful contrasts of colour, texture and shape that all work beautifully throughout the year. The garden looks fantastic and I get an awful lot of pleasure from looking out from my conservatory.
